MOLDABLE FIRE-RESISTANT TREATED PLASTIC PLATE

摘要

PURPOSE: To obtain a plastic material satisfying an OSU test and having a high impact strength by providing a core layer containing a predetermined amt. of a flameproof additive and a coating layer containing a slight amt. of the flameproof additive. CONSTITUTION: A core layer with a thickness of 1-10 mm comprising a thermoplastic resin containing at least 0.5 wt.% of a flameproof additive and the coating layers with a thickness of at least 0.05 mm comprising a thermoplastic resin containing the flameproof additive in amt. slightly smaller than that thereof in the core layer bonded on both surfaces of the core layer are provided to obtain a moldable flameproofed plastic plate. By this constitution, an OSU test value is lowered and the reduction of impact strength by the content of the flameproof additive is eliminated.
