PURPOSE:To reduce the vibration noise from a metal vessel when induction heating takes place, by adopting the constitution according to the invention as described hereunder. CONSTITUTION:The vibration amount of a metal vessel 8 is sensed by a vibration amount sensing means 13, and a vibration amount comparing means 12b makes comparison and judges whether the sensed vibration amount exceeds the reference value set and stored in a vibration amount memory means 12c. When the reference value is exceeded, the frequency of the fed current to a heater coil 6 is varied by a frequency control means 12a so as to reduce the vibration amount of the metal vessel 8 below the reference vibration amount. Thereby generation of resonance sound from the metal vessel can be prevented. |
