PURPOSE:To obtain a solid lubricating film excellent in frictional characteristics and abrasion resistance useful for lubrication between two relatively moving surfaces by modifying the surface of the film. CONSTITUTION:The surface of a solid lubricating film which comprises component elements of 30-36wt.% Mo, 23-30wt.% Sb, 20-24wt.% S, 6-12wt.% Ag, 4-5wt.% Si, 2-2.5wt.% Na, and the balance of O and impurities is irradiated with atomic oxygen. |
