POSITION REGISTRATION CONTROL SYSTEM IN MOBILE COMMUNICATION

摘要

PURPOSE:To reduce traffic of a control channel and to decrease the number of control channels by controlling a position registration area so that a position registration traffic and a simultaneous call traffic are optimized for each mobile station. CONSTITUTION:A radio zone is arranged in one-dimension and a position registration area pattern is selected to be, e.g. four groups L1-L4. Assuming a position registration area pattern number at that time as Li and an in-zone code number as Ej. Plural position registration area patterns being component patterns of the plural position registration areas dividing and covering the service area are prepared and one is allocated to each mobile station among the plural position registration area patterns.
