PURPOSE: To provide the medicine release system capable of releasing a medicine in excellent site specificity, when brought into contact with the physiological conditions of an organism. CONSTITUTION: This medicine release composition comprises a bioelastomeric polymer comprising monomer units selected from the group consisting of a pentapeptide, tetrapeptide and nonapeptide containing (Val<1> -Pro<2> -Gly<3> -Val<4> -Gly<5> ) and (Val<1> -Pro<2> -Gly<3> -Gly4 ) as constituting units, and a medicine held with the polymer.
