PURPOSE:To provide a thermal recording body which is colored, has a high gloss and is high in the recording density of printed letters and excellent shelf- life. CONSTITUTION:In a thermal recording body, (1) a thermal recording layer containing a color former and a coloration agent coming into contact with the color former so as to develop a color, (2) an intermediate layer containing a water-soluble resin and/or water dispersible resin, (3) a pigmented layer and (4) an overcoat layer mainly composed of ionizing radiation- or ultraviolet-curing resin are successively provided to attain the purpose. |
