PURPOSE:To maintain the function of a board by using the side of the board as the surface of a printed board to be machined by laser beam. CONSTITUTION:When letters, etc., are marked by a laser beam machine on the printed board, a recess 6c is prepared on the side 6b of the printed board 6 and marks such as the letters and a bar code are stamped by the laser beam machine in the recess 6c. Consequently, letters, etc., can be marked on the printed board without impairing functions such as holding of many circuit elements, wiring and, at the same time, irrespective of material on which letters, etc., are marked, contrast between printed letters and the color of material itself becomes sharp and the precision of automatic reading is improved. |
