PURPOSE:To obtain a pulse driven motor control circuit having high output, high resolution and small size and low power consumption by sequentially supplying the output of an encoder to a motor drive circuit by a command signal obtained by dividing a command pulse into 4 phases. CONSTITUTION:A quaternary reversible counter 3 respectively inputs command pulses CW, CCW in response to the rotating direction to an UP terminal and a DOWN terminal, outputs a binary data, and 4-bit multiplexer 4 opens analog switches 5-1-5-4 in response to the binary data. When the gates 5-1-5-4 are opened, a sinusoidal signal A, a cosine signal B, an inverted sinusoidal signal, an inverted cosine signal B' are applied from the encoder 2 to a motor drive circuit 12. In this manner, a pulse driven motor control circuit having high output, high efficiency and high resolution can be provided. |
