PURPOSE:To reduce the manufacturing cost of the draining basket by joining superposed parts of both edges of the draining basket made of a stainless steel net sheet by seamless welding and joining a ring main body to a bottom sheet by spot welding. CONSTITUTION:In manufacturing the draining basket for the sink, the stainless steel net sheet is rounded cylindrically to form a cylindrical body 2 and the superposed parts of both edges of the net sheet are subjected to seamless welding. A ring body 3 is then fitted into the inside of an opening edge of one end of the cylindrical body 2, the bottom sheet 4 is fitted to an opening edge of the other end from the outside and these are fixed on each other by spot welding. The safe and firm draining basket where sharp edges, burrs, etc., are hardly exposed on both inside and outside can be thus easily manufactured. |
