发明名称 RARE EARTH-IRON-BASED ALLOY POWDER AND COMPRESSION-BONDED MAGNET USING THE POWDER
摘要 PURPOSE:To develop a compression-bonded magnet excellent in corrosion resistance by press-forming the mixture of a rare earth-Fe-based alloy powder having a specified particle size distribution and a thermosetting binder and then heat- curing the formed body. CONSTITUTION:A rare earth-Fe-based alloy powder having <=3000Angstrom average crystal grain diameter and contg. <=50wt.% of the particles having >=50mum diameter is produced by liq. quenching, and 0.5-4.0wt.% of a thermosetting resin is added to the alloy powder and sufficiently mixed. The mixed powder is press-formed into a specified shape, and the formed body is heated, cured and magnetized in a magnetic field to produce a compression-bonded magnet excellent in mechanical strength and corrosion resistance.
