PURPOSE: To facilitate the handling and enhance the efficiency to the ligament to the ankle by fixing one end of a band extended from the side of the ankle to the front through the rear side of the tendo achillis and fixed to a ring on the side of the ankle through the instep to a foot support body. CONSTITUTION: An ankle supporter 10 has a foot support body 11 opened in a toe 15 and a heel 16, and a tongue piece 19 on one end thereof. A non- expansible band 25 is fixed to the outside of the foot support body 11 through a sleeve 26 and directed so as to cross the fifth metatarsus. Thus, the band 25 is extended from the side of the heel to the front around the rear side of the tendo achillis so as to cover the ankle bone, and fixed to a ring 30 over the instep part of the foot support body 11. Thus, the ankle can be easily protected. |
