The subject of the present invention is a mobile radio-receiver set. It consists of the combination of two demodulation chains (1, 2) receiving the same HF signal (21) and linked to the same LF amplifier (8) and each consisting of a circuit of the "Phase Locked Loop" type (PLL-1, PLL-2), of a circuit (FI-1, FI-2) for conversion to intermediate frequency and of a demodulator (D-1, D-2), the "Phase Locked Loop" circuits being driven by a microprocessor (5) which blocks one of them while the other is exploring the frequency spectrum in search of the transmitter having the strongest signal and/or the same modulation. The invention mainly relates to the field of car radios, but it can be applied to all mobile receivers. <IMAGE>
