Method enabling walls having a reinforced-concrete structure to be constructed by using hollow polystyrene blocks called modules. The method consists of four main modules: a filling module I for straight walls, two linking modules II and III for corners and intersections, and a top linking module IV for flush tying. The assembly of these modules is performed by virtue of male (5) and female (30) interlocking elements and by trapezoidal protuberances (1) and trapezoidal cavities (wall pockets) (2). Once installed, they constitute the formwork for the columns (4) (6) and beams (3) and remain integrated within the construction while providing, in addition, the thermal insulation. The method according to the invention is particularly intended for the construction of exterior walls for detached houses and/or blocks of flats. <IMAGE>
