The object of this certificate of addition is to improve on Patent No. 87 15590, the subject of which was a bed wardrobe, by creating an option as a couch or sofa in front of the wardrobe. This option is achieved by the presence of a panel which covers the opening at the bottom of the wardrobe and is hinged on a horizontal axis that runs above the level of the bed when the bed is horizontal, this panel being provided with means for its partial retraction, placing it in a position where it acts as a backrest against which one or more cushions are placed to support the back. <IMAGE>
