PURPOSE:To provide a magneto-optical disc spindle motor having reduced height. CONSTITUTION:A rotor magnetic path yoke 3b having plane opposing structure is provided with hole parts 3c1, 3c2 for passing flux of a field magnet 3a and a disc holding magnet is provided so that it also serves as the field magnet thus realizing reduction of thickness. Outer peripheral part of the magnetic path yoke 3b is bent in the axial direction and a disc supporting part A for mounting a disc is integrated with the magnetic path yoke 3b thus realizing reduction of the number of components and the cost. |
