This invention relates to items of luggage including four rolling elements. Three (34, 36, 38) of them are mounted pivotably about axes substantially perpendicular to the face (28) of the luggage which bears them, whilst the fourth (40) has a stationary axis of rotation. The luggage may thus be moved either by being pushed while it rests on its four rolling elements, or by being pulled, in which case it rests on the two pivoting rolling elements (34, 36) arranged along a large side of the face (28).
