The invention relates to a device which permits a monitoring of hourly diuresis, without risk of contact with the urine and without recording on a register. The device consists of a sheath (1) enclosing, by means of its attachments (2), the connection pieces (3) and (4), thereby permitting a reconnection of the connection pieces (3) and (4) in the event of an accidental disconnection. The reservoir (5) is equipped with a level gauge (6) which sends an electrical signal to a monitor (8) to provide information on the volume of the urine (9). The monitor (8) is characterised by twenty four diodes (14) which display hour by hour, dial (14) by dial, a volume and an hour corresponding to a monitoring of hourly diuresis over 24 hours. Upon each change-over from one dial to another, a valve (10) permits the transfer of the recorded urine (9) into a bag (11). Application in all hospital environments. <IMAGE>
