PURPOSE:To prevent a perforated film from twisting at the time of the cleaning of the perforated film and prevent removed ink from depositing on perforated film an ink jet recording apparatus wherein ink is supplied to the respective holes of the perforated film having many holes (orifices) bored therein and the ink in the holes is emitted by the ink emitting means of a thermal head to apply recording to a recording medium. CONSTITUTION:A magnetic fluid is used as ink and a magnetic fluid supply means 16 is provided to supply the magnetic fluid to the respective holes of a perforated film 1 and the magnetic fluid in the holes is emitted by a magnetic fluid emitting means 8 to be bonded to a recording medium to perform recording and, after the magnetic fluid emitting process, the magnetic fluid 18 remaining on the perforated film is separated and removed from the perforated film by the magnetic force of a magnetic force magnetic fluid removing means 17. |
