PURPOSE:To form a recording picture of high quality and good gradient without receiving an influence by a peripheral environment and a change of temperature and humidity of a sensitive unit. CONSTITUTION:Beam intensity except a recording area is detected by a photodiode(P.D.)102 to correct beam intensity by changing a bias current IB of a laser light emitting element(C.D.)101 based on the detected beam intensity. The beam intensity is corrected by changing an operating current IP of the laser light emitting element 101 based on a temperature detected by a temperature detecting circuit 111 of a laser beam. Since the laser beam is controlled so as to hold the beam intensity to a fixed value corresponding to a temperature change of the laser beam and a temperature/humidity change of a sensitive unit even during recording, intensity of the laser beam during recording is further stabilized to improve a gradient. |
