The bath is admixed with 0.05-2 (0.75-1) g/l copolymer of, by wt. w.r.t. the monomers, 10-70 (40-65)% acrylamide and 90-30 (60-35)% acrylic acid, pref. having mol.wt. 1500000-3000000. The bath ratio is1:15 to 1:5. The use of the given polymer, in the given amt., in exhaust-dyeing is claimed per se.
