PICTURE LAYOUT DEVICE

PURPOSE:To exactly and easily set a variable power rate and a rotational angle for correcting an inputted picture by calculating the variable power rate and rotational angle of the picture based on a reference vector and an objective vector. CONSTITUTION:A reference vector setting means 10 sets the reference vector showing the size and direction of the picture to be a reference for executing the rotation and variable power processings of the picture. An objective vector setting means 11 sets the objective vector for specifying the size and direction of the picture to execute the rotation and variable power processings. A magnification/angle calculating means 7 calculates the variable power rate and rotational angle of the picture based on data from the reference vector setting means 10 and the objective vector setting means 11 so as to correct the size or direction of the picture stored in a memory 4. A layout calculating means 9 executes layout calculation concerning the image data to which a casting data and position relation are made correspondent by a picture positioning means 6 and the rotation and variable power processings are executed by a picture processing means 8.
