HELICAL COIL CATHODE FOR ELECTRONIC TUBE

PURPOSE:To obtain a helical coil cathode for electronic tube having a relatively large thermonic emission quantity against the heating power under the condition that the heating power to be supplied to a helical coil filament is small. CONSTITUTION:As illustrated in the figure 1, a filament having an elliptical or elliptic or rectangular cross section is used so that the longitudinal direction of the cross section of the filament is in parallel with the axial direction of a helical coil.
