The anchor steering two components (A,B) together has a bar (1) secured to the first one and fixed in a drilling (4) through the second by an anchoring device (3). The latter has expanding segments (5a) on a bush (5) with shoulder (5b) bearing against a stop (6) on the bar, while a tapering expander body (7) is thrust by a nut (8) into the bush. Between the stop and the shoulder is a component (9) which can be shortened in the axial direction after the bush has been fixed in position, typically a spring enclosing the bar. ADVANTAGE - Allows some relative movement.
