PURPOSE: To provide a flexible pouch whose pouring spout opens quickly and its opened state can be kept, by a method wherein a folding section kept at its folded state when the pouring spout means is hermetically closed is expanded to open when the closing means is removed and then the pouring spout means is opened. CONSTITUTION: A pouch 20 is formed such that a sheet of flexible plastics is bent at a top edge 22 to form a front side wall 24 and a rear side wall 26 opposing to each other, wherein a side edge 30 is formed with a recess 36. The recess 36 has an upper inwardly inclined sealing edge 37. The sealing edge 37 is extended up to a lateral sealing edge 38 positioned in a spaced-apart relation below the top edge 22 and then a pouring port 40 is formed at a corner part of the pouch at its upper portion of each of the walls 24, 26 between the top edge 22 and the lateral sealing edge 38. In the case that liquid in the pouch 20 is to be emptied, a sealing edge 42 is cut off and the pouring spout is immediately opened due to an expanded opening of the folded part 50 and a resilient force of the folding part, resulting in that the opening 43 is kept to be opened wide and the resilient force at the folded part is kept open in such a manner that liquid is poured from the pouch.
