The ski-boot has a bottom shell (1) on which the upper (2) is mounted and which has a front (3) and back cap (4) in the form of a half-tubular piece with flaps (5',6') extending over the flanks of the bottom part (1). The back cap is joined to the bottom shell part at the heel by a link (8). Each flap (5',6') has a locking piece (10). The back cap (4) has two different semi-tubular sections - one lower (5) and one upper (6) partly overlapping. The lower section (5) has an extension (15) extending upwards below the top section (6) above a plane (27) running through its axis (8) on the bottom shell part (1) and its axle (10) with the top section (6). ADVANTAGE - The ski boot's back cap has its own flexural control system.
