<p>The present invention relates to a method and apparatus for combined chemical-biological disposal of explosives and explosive-containing residues. The invention provides for the first time a method and an apparatus which, in contrast to current disposal methods, largely preclude the release of substances endangering the quality of air, soil or water, and which can be operated economically while requiring little investment. The residues produced in the process and apparatus according to the invention can be used as fuels or to improve the soil.</p>
