PURPOSE:To provide a suspension control method capable of accurately surely detecting stepwise/projecting vibrations and effectively restraining the vibrations without sacrificing controllability and riding quality in the suspension control method of a vehicle having the suspensions variable in the damping force respectively interposed in the chassis and carbureter sides. CONSTITUTION:When under the condition of at least fixed vehicle speed the amplitude of vertical oscillation detecting output of the vehicle is within a short wave period approximately corresponding to the resonance period of the chassis side suspension and the acceleration exceeds predetermined one, only the damping force of the chassis side suspension is characteristically changed over to the hard side for a predetermined time. |
