PURPOSE: To further enhance safety, and when a trouble is caused inside a circuit or an electronic system, to switch off an antilock control for maintaining safety without controlling the brake operation. CONSTITUTION: The circuit processes the sensor signal obtained by a wheel sensor 5, and causes a braking-pressure control signal. The processed signal is simultaneously and independently further processed by microcontrollers 1, 2, and the exchanged signals are checked whether or not they agree with each other. The difference due to the malfunction of the exchanged signals is transmitted to a safety circuit 8, and the safety circuit cuts off the power supply of solenoid valves L1 to Ln. If the exchanged signals agree with each other, and the operation of the circuit is normal, the monitor signals WD1, WD2 supplied to the safety circuit are prescribed intersignals, and the safety circuit compares these intersignals with a time standard obtained by clock generators TG2, TG3. The cut-off of the power supply, and the cut-off of the anti-lock control is carried out by the change inside the intersignal in the same way as the malfunction in the time standard.
