New formazan dyestuffs contg. one or two fibre-reactive 5-chloro-6-fluoropyrimidin-4-yl-amino gps., are of the formula (Fb) -((CH2)0-1-N(R) -Z)1-2 (I), where Fb = a metal N-(2-carboxyphenyl) -N'-(2-hydroxyphenyl)-ms-phenyl-formazan gp. of formula (IIA) or a metal N-(2-hydroxy-phenyl)-N'-(8-hydroxy-3-sulpho- or -3,5(6)-disulpho-naphth-l-yl)-ms-phenyl formazan gp. of formula (IIB); R1-R6 = H, 1-4C alkyl, 1-4C alkoxy, OH, halogen, COOH, sulphonamido, alkyl- or arylcarbonylamino or -sulphonylamino or -SO3H; R = H or 1-4C alkyl; Z = the fibre-reactive 5-chloro-6-fluoropyrimidin-4-yl gp.; m = 0 or 1; Me = a divalent metal atom, e.g. Fe, Zn, Co, Ni or pref. Cu. Pref. Fb = a (IIB) gp. with m = 1, the second SO3H gp. being in the 6-position; R = H; and (I) contains a -(CH2)0-1-NH-Z, esp. -NH-Z gp. attached to the N-phenyl substit. or a -NH-Z gp. attached to the ms-phenyl substit.; or Fb = a (IIA) gp. with Me- CU; and -NH-Z attached to any one phenyl gp., -CH2-NR-Z attached to the N'-phenyl gp. or an ms-(3-Z-NH-substd.-4-sulpho)- phenyl gp. and also an -NH-Z substit. in one of the other rings; in all cases, there are 0-1 SO3H substit. in the Z-NH- or Z-NR-CH2-susbtd. ring and 0-2 SO3H substits. in the other 2 rings. |
