PURPOSE:To fix a tension and a twist of a pulser generating magnetic wire rod, not delete the Barkhausen effect, and stably produce a large pulse by a method wherein a rotating sensor, a car speed sensor, an approach switch or the like and a sensor or a pulser for use in an automobile industry, an automatic device industry or the like are improved. CONSTITUTION:A pulse generating magnetic wire rod comprises a magnetic wire rod and a plating film covering this magnetic wire rod. This plating film is so provided as to fix a stress applied to this magnetic wire rod and contains at least 1 species of Ni, Cr. In the manufacturing method of this pulse generating magnetic wire rod, a stress is applied to the magnetic wire rod, while a plating film covering this magnetic wire rod surface is formed to fix the stress applied to this magnetic wire rod. The plating film for fixing this stress is formed by an electric plating method. |
