The transport truck for an overhead railway is partic. for concrete for preparation plant to the point of use, having a self-dumping skip. Its travel chassis (1) has a remote-controlled motor-driven hoist winch (31) with multiple ropes (3,4) reeved round pulleys (34,39), and from which the skip (2) is suspended. When lifted into the uppermost position this locks into engagement with the chhassis, so as to prevent swinging while travelling.
