PURPOSE:To accurately control the operation state of an anaerobic tank by holding the concn. of dissolved oxygen in the tank to a specific value or less. CONSTITUTION:The concn. of oxygen in the solution in an anaerobic tank 1 is periodically measured and operation is controlled for the purpose of holding the concn. of dissolved oxygen in the solution to 30ppb or less. By this method, the activity of methane bacteria can be directly grasped and is held to a high level to make it possible to efficiently perform anaerobic treatment.
