摘要 The tube has a coaxial vacuum sleeve, whose outer surface carries cooling fins, surrounded by a housing part affecting the coolant flow. The cooling fins (2) are disc-shaped and have apertures (3) distributed over their periphery. The cooling fins are spaced on the vacuum sleeve (1) and the apertures of adjacent fins are offset in the peripheral direction such that they are not aligned in the tube axis parallel sense. Pref. the vacuum sleeve has a cylindrical outer surface and the cooling fins are annular. The apertures are typically in the form of radial slits, but may also be bores. USE/ADVANTAGE - Travelling field tubes, etc. with simple mfr. and versatile cooling effects.
