PURPOSE:To construct a high-level communication network even by a simplified microcomputer at the serial communication equipment using a shift register. CONSTITUTION:Between a master node (M) and a slave node (S) respectively equipped with the shift registers, respective communication lines (a) are provided for a clock (CLK) for serial communication, master data (MDT) and slave data (SDT), and respective control lines (b) are provided for a synchronism initializing request (SYN) and a slave answer (ANS). The master data from the above-mentioned master node or the slave data from the above-mentioned slave node is serially transmitted synchronously to the above-mentioned clock, and when starting the transmission of the master data or the reception of the slave data, the above-mentioned synchronism initializing request is transmitted from the above-mentioned master node. Further, the above-mentioned slave answer is transmitted form the above-mentioned slave node after receiving the respective characters of the above-mentioned master data and before transmitting the respective characters of the above-mentioned slave data. |
