PURPOSE:To increase precision on judgement of recording by a method wherein light of different wavelengths is enabled to be judged by using generation of SHG on a problem point caused since a conventional optical recording material is read by judging intensity of a single wavelength. CONSTITUTION:A recording material which is formed as a 10mum or under recording layer by using two or more kinds of organic compounds in which through it forms individually a crystal structure having a symmetrical center and does not show SHG activity, when they are mixed with each other to form solid solution, they become asymmetrical and come to show the SHG activity, by coating respective organic compounds separately on ultrafine particles, and by applying the ultrafine particles onto a substrate. Writing is performed by irradiation of a heat source, and reading is performed by 1/2 wavelength light to be generated with SHG. |
