PURPOSE:To improve lighting availability of a liquid crystal panel. CONSTITUTION:A lens array board 10 is jointed to an illumination side of the liquid crystal panel 20. The lens array board 10 is made by arraying and forming convex microlenses 12 in a closely packed structure such as lattice-like or honeycomb-like on a glass base panel 11 by a transparent resin. Lighting 40 condenced by each lens 12 transmits through the liquid crystal light transmitting window 24.
