PURPOSE:To obtain the subject high-strength clothes, excellent in hygroscopicity, drapeability, etc., by densely and three-dimensionally interlacing staple fiber containing regenerated cellulosic fiber having a specific diameter and a specified aspect ratio of single fiber, carrying out resin finishing of the prepared wet nonwoven fabric, then bonding and sewing the resultant nonwoven fabric. CONSTITUTION:Staple fibers (f1), (f2), (f3)... (with preferably 20--70wt.% content of regenerated cellulosic fiber) containing the regenerated cellulosic fiber having 7-25mum diameter of single fiber and 0.3X10<3> to 1.0X10<3> ratio of the fiber length(L) to the diameter(D) of the single fiber are three-dimensionally interlaced to form a wet nonwoven fabric having <=300mum average distance between the interlaced points of (a1), (a2), (a3).... The resultant nonwoven fabric is then subjected to resin finishing and clothes are subsequently bonded and sewn. |
