<p>Thermally- or pressure-sensitive record material comprises a substrate and a substituted phenol color developer material of the formula <CHEM> wherein: n is independently an integer from 1 to 4; m is independenty an integer from 1 to 4; each of R<1> amd R<2> is independently hydrogen, C1-C8 alkyl, or halogen; R<3> is allyl, benzyl or C1-C4 alkyl, preferably methyl; and either each of R<4> and R<5> is independently hydrogen or C1-C8 alkyl, or R<4> and R<5> together form a 5 or 6 membered alkyl ring.</p> |
