K-18521/A/CGM 366 Modified polyarylene ethers Compositions comprising a) 2-40 % by weight of a polyfunctional epoxide containing at least two glycidyl groups bonded directly to an oxygen, nitrogen or sulfur atom and b) 98-60 % by weight of a predominantly OH-terminated homopolymer or copolymer having a hydroxyl group content of at least 10 .mu.eq/g and comprising 1-100 mol% of a recurring structural unit of the formula (I) (I) and 99-0 mol% of a recurring structural unit of the formula (II) (II), in which Ar1, Ar2 and Ar3 are divalent aromatic radicals, are suitable for the production of solvent-resistant coatings or adhesive bonds, in particular for the production of flexible laminates.
