PURPOSE:To manufacture a thermoplastic oriented film and a thermoplastic oriented sheet of superior resistance to weather, mechanical strength, resistance to heat and appearance by orienting a composition composed of a specified acrylic ester multilayer structure polymer and specified thermoplastic resin. CONSTITUTION:A multilayer structure polymer A is a composition of given ratio of alkyl ester unit of methacrylic acid and acrylic acid respectively, an unsaturated nitrile unit and an aromatic vinyl unit, and its acetone insolubles are provided with 1.5-10 methyl ethyl ketone swelling for 1000-10000kg/cm<2> tensile strength. Its structure is the ring shape with 2000-6500Angstrom average diameter of inner layers and 200-500Angstrom average thickness of outer layers and small particles are dispersed microscopically all over the inner layers. Thermoplastic resin is composed of acrynitrile-styrene resin B and resin C compatible with said A and B. A composition containing said A, B and C at a given ratio is oriented, and ORS (heat-shrinkable stress) regulated in ASTM is apceified as 5-20 kg/cm<2>. |
