PURPOSE:To realize a power source having an accurate constant voltage without a voltage correcting element by using the constant voltage characteristic between both ends of a discharge lamp at the time of lighting this lamp to realize the constant voltage source with the voltage between both ends. CONSTITUTION:A DC discharge lamp 1 is used to supply a voltage from a power source E1 through a resistor R2. The discharge lamp 1 is provided with a preheating circuit 2. Then, the constant voltage characteristic for lighting of the discharge lamp 1 can be used, and the constant voltage power source with high precision is realized without voltage correcting elements by the voltage between both ends of the discharge lamp 1. In an example, the voltage with a high precision is used as the power source of a CR time constant circuit consisting of the resistor R2 and a capacitor C1. |
