PURPOSE:To produce the ceramic parts for magnetic heads having high accuracy at a high yield and good productivity by decreasing the man-hours for operations which are heretofore laborious and a many of which are needed in the process for producing the ceramic parts for the magnetic heads to be used for various electronic computers, etc. CONSTITUTION:A ceramic sintered body 12 which is previously worked to the shape of a secondary product and is calcined is used. A grinding wheel 15 for cutting and an H-shaped base which is disposed with a recessed part 14 in such a manner that this part parallels with the above-mentioned grinding wheel 15 for cutting are used. The cutting part of the ceramic sintered body 12 mentioned above is stuck into the recessed part 14 so as to intersect orthogonally with the grinding wheel 15 for cutting and thereafter, the ceramic sintered body 12 is cut by the grinding wheel 15 for cutting. The ceramic parts for the magnetic heads having the high accuracy are thus produce.
