<p>Connecting device intended to be part of a prosthesis of a limb of the human body and to connect together adjustably two components of this prosthesis, this device comprising a base body (1) and two joining pieces (2, 3) mounted on endless screws (25, 30) of the base body so as to pivot, over a limited range (a) corresponding to an acute angle, around respective axes (9, 19) of the endless screws, which are substantially perpendicular to each other and non-intersecting, and to translate, over a limited range (d), along the endless screws. Locking screws (31, 32) bearing on the support surfaces of the joining pieces (3) allow each joining piece to be immobilised with respect to the base body in any position chosen within its pivotal range and its translational range, and each joining piece is fitted with means (42, 44, 47) for connection to a respective component of the prosthesis, which means are placed on the side of its own pivotal axis opposite to the other pivotal axis. <IMAGE></p> |
