PURPOSE:To obtain the subject composition excellent in dispersibility in a resin to be modified and interfacial bonding strength by dispersing a specific amorphous copolymer and plural olefinic polymers in an aqueous medium and introducing a crosslinked structure and hydroxyl groups thereinto. CONSTITUTION:(A) An amorphous copolymer prepared by copolymerizing ethylene with an alpha-olefin such as propylene, (B) a low-molecular weight alpha-olefinic polymer having preferably 1000-8000 number-average molecular weight and (C) a modified low-molecular weight alpha-olefinic polymer obtained by grafting an unsaturated carboxylic acid such as maleic acid onto the component (B), together with a surfactant, are dispersed in an aqueous medium and (D) a polyfunctional monomer such as divinylbenzene in an amount of preferably 0.1-20 pts.wt. [based on 100 pts.wt. component (A)] is added further thereto. Crosslinking is then carried out by using, e.g. ionizing radiation or an organic peroxide to afford the objective composition. |
