PURPOSE:To perform working by controlling a working depth and to improve accuracy and to secure safety operation, by controlling the excitation of laser oscillation by detecting the variation of reflected light from an object to be worked. CONSTITUTION:When laser beam for measuring 2 is irradiated from laser oscillating machine 1, reflected light 2' forms image on mask 5 after passing through lense 4, and the reflected light passing through mask 5 is detected by detector 6. On the other hand, when an effective reflected light is detected by detector 6 by adjusting reference voltage 8' adequately, a signal is output from amplifier 7 and relay 9 starts working then relay contact point 10 closes the circuit of connecting system R. When relay contact point 10 is closed, laser oscillating machine 1 is excited by a strong electric energy, working laser 2 is output to proceed the working of object 3. The reflected light is captured by detector 6 only when the reflecting point (working point) is within the range from point A to point B, and working laser 2 is irradiated to limit the working depth to L3. |
