PURPOSE:To avoid the power source turn-off to the utmost by a software processing at the time of temperature abnormality of a computer system, and to surely turn off the power source without trouble only in an unavoidable case. CONSTITUTION:The operation mode of a power source control part 4 is switched to one of (1) a temperature abnormality detection mode : a detected temperature of a temperature sensor 8 is checked in a prescribed period and at the time of temperature abnormality, its fact is informed to a central processor 1 by an interruption, etc., each time, and a main power source is turned off at the time when the temperature abnormality detection is continued exceeding a prescribed time T1, and (2) a temperature abnormality detection invalid mode : the temperature sensor 8 is disregarded, and the main power source is not tuned off, and it is usually operated in the mode of (l), and by said abnormality notice of the power source control part 4 at the time of temperature abnormality, the central processor 1 switches the power source control part 4 to the mode of 2 once, and processings determined by the system in advance, corresponding to temperature abnormality, for instance, lowering of a room temperature by the control of an air conditioner, generation of an alarm to an operator, etc., are executed, and thereafter, the operation mode of the power source control part 4 is returned to '1b. |
