PURPOSE:To obtain a planographic printing plate with excellent wear resisting plates (Druckwiderstandsfahigkeit) by developing a specific sensitive planographic printing plate with an alkali water solution having a pH of 8 or more below 12 and substantially not including an organic solvent after exposure of image. CONSTITUTION:A sensitizing planographic printing plate having a sensitive layer including a diazo compound, a lipophilic polymer compound and a nonionic surface active agent and/or a fluorine surface active agent is image-exposed. After that, an alkali water solution having a pH of 8 or more below 12 and substantially not including an organic solvent is used as developer. |
