PURPOSE:To perform a rapid sheet insertion work with no error by a method wherein, in a folding machine for a rotary printer, a control device to prestore various sheet insertion routes is provided, and an assigned sheet insertion route is indicated by means of a voice. CONSTITUTION:Various sheet insertion routes are prestored in a control device 22. When a sheet is inserted in a sheet guiding means, such as guide rollers 6, 6..., drag rollers 7, 7..., a turn bars 8a..., and 8b..., a worker hears a sheet insertion route indicated by a voice through a voice device 21, such as a speaker, a radio with an earphone, or cassette tape, to effect insertion of a sheet. The indication content contains an outline of an indicated sheet guiding route, and destinations right on the upper stream side and the downstream side of each guide means. Or, a route for a sheet indicated by the control device 22 is indicated by a direction indicator located to each of guide means 6-8. |
