PURPOSE:To provide the broach which is substantially unaffected by drugs, is easily curved simply by inserting the broach into the root canal of a tooth, maintains its state and can evenly execute disinfection and drug sticking by forming the needle-shaped broach body to be inserted into the root canal of a shape memory alloy composed of nickel and titanium. CONSTITUTION:The needle-shaped broach body 1 to be inserted into the root canal of the tooth is formed of the shape memory alloy composed of the nickel and titanium. This broach body 1 has tenacity, is flexible at ordinary temp. and has low elasticity and, therefore, the deformation, such as curving, of the broach body is easy. Then, the broach body is easily deformed in correspondence to the form of the root canal of the tooth if the root canal curves and, therefore, the broach body can be inserted smoothly into the deep part of the root canal. The uniform disinfection and drug sticking of the root canal with this broach body are possible. |
