PURPOSE:To obtain a toner enabling stable and uniform laminating in two or more layers on a developing roll, inhibiting filming on the roll and capable of giving high density and high quality images over a long period of time. CONSTITUTION:This toner contains a binding resin and a colorant at 70-120 deg., preferably 85-120 deg. contact angle and is used for an image forming method in which many small closed electric fields are formed near the surface of a developing roll by allowing the surface of the roll to selectively retain electric charges and a nonmagnetic one-component developer contg. an auxiliary added as required is fed to the roll and supported on the surface of the roll by the electric fields to convert an electrostatic latent image into a visible image. |
